Lynton Trailers (UK) Ltd is one of the UK's leading designer and manufacturers of special purpose trailers, motorised vehicles and demountables for use in a variety of applications from Exhibition/Display Units to Mobile Medical Units, Mobile Incident Command Units and Mobile Training Units, many of Britain's biggest - and smallest companies have wisely invested in a Lynton unit to successfully promote their goods and services, corporate image and positively increase their sales levels.
In 2008 Lynton Trailers relocated to a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Hadfield, Glossop on a 2.4-acre site. During the design and manufacture, Lynton worked closely with the architects to reduce our carbon footprint. Our new facility meets all the latest environmental legislation, and emissions we produce during our manufacturing processes have a minimal impact on the environment.
History
Lynton Trailers (UK) Ltd and its predecessors have been manufacturing in Manchester for over half a century. Prior to the war, Riley manufactured portable wooden units and after moved into caravan manufacture and adopted the Lynton name. In 1986 Lynton moved into the mobile display and trailer market at the same time exiting the caravan industry and have steadily progressed to become one of the UK's leading manufacturers in this field, also enhancing their refurbishment capabilities and adding a fleet of mobile service engineers.
